Visit this http://seo.seocompany.ca/youtube-tips/ for more you tube tips and many other tips.Dont forget to visit this site.
Now Lets see an article which i read from that site as follows:
I am sure a lot of you have seen videos on Youtube with over 100,000 views! But are all videos that successful? Most of the videos that I have checked only gets a moderate amount of views. But then how do some people get over 100,000 views? What do they do in order to archive that?
I have analyzed some of the key areas after reading a entry in TechCrunch. I don’t quite agree with the author on some of the things that he highlighted about viral video marketing. So below I’m just giving you all my version of the tips that you can follow to make your videos successful in YouTube.
1. The Shorter the Better – Keep your videos short and simple. No body likes to watch long videos (especially the ones using a dial up connection).
2. Have a plan – Think about what type of videos you want to make and what audience to target. Don’t just try to copy the most popular users — this may not be the best style for you. Remember that YouTube is huge, with lots of different styles and niches. You might be better off targeting a small interest group than the more general-interest market. For example, “About me” or “my house” are topics which are too general and unlikely to be searched for. “Bungy jumping” or “bass guitar solo” are topics which stand some chance of being found by people who are specifically searching for them.
3. Make your videos ’search friendly’ – use tags and descriptions properly. Unless you are already a popular user, the only way people are going to find your videos is by searching. This means the words you use for tags and descriptions are very important — make they match the content of your video.
4. Think & act like your viewer – Make videos of interesting and unique things. Things that you yourself would probably want to see. Always put yourself in the viewers shoes to modify your ideas accordingly.
5. Should You or Should You Not use Fake Headlines? - Fake Headlines might work (according to Dan Ackerman or TechCrunch), However I feel that using a fake headline would be a one time game. Sooner or later people will lose trust on your videos. Of Course you may create another youtube account, but I feel that it would be best if you can make a good reputation first. This will allow you to have a lot of subscribers, and your videos will have a greater viral effect.
6. Learn about video-editing – If your videos look like they were made by a professional they will do better on YouTube. Read the tutorials on this website and be prepared to spend time practicing. Ask questions in our forum, and make sure you ask for feedback about your videos.
7. Get It going – To get a viral effect, you will have to do viral marketing of the video yourself! Now it is really easy to post a youtube video in Myspace, Facebook, Friendster and so on. So pass your video around to as many people as you can – and if they like it they will pass it on to more people.
