To get an email id or address,just visit the free email account providing sites. Open the browser and type the web address of the concerned web service provider. For example, www.gmail.com, www.yahoocom, www.hotmail.com, www.rediff.com and www.netaddress.com. Now let us consider the example with the site www.gmail.com. The first page or home page will have the option to sign up for new users to get an free email account.
Creating E-mail account:
Click the sign up option available. The application screen will be loaded asking the user details, in that you have to specify your details.If all the details are given and we accept the terms and conditions, then you have to submit the form. If the email account is created, it will show the message showing that your email id is successfully created and it will specify the id. Whenever you want to sign in, you have to type the username and password in the space provided to sign in.
Sending mails:
Whenever you want to send mail you invoke the Write mail or Compose option of E-mail program.
You get an screen option with the From, To, CC,BCC, Subject, Reply-to, and Address Book.
Type the mail id of whom you wish to send mail in the "To" column.Fill the columns with required things.
Sending Attachments:
You can also send a word document or spreadsheet file ar any file as an attachment with your e-mail message by following steps.
*Edit your message first.
*Then select the option Attachment. Click on Browse and select the file which has to be sent as an attacment once. Once the file is selected it loads and get attached within a minute.You can attach more number of files.
*Now click on Send button.
You could see "Your message has been sent successfully" message.
Reading Mails:
To view or read a mail from the inbox simply click on the option Read Mail. From the inbox listing choose the appropriate file and click on it. The message will appear in the screen.
