HOW TO IMPORT BOOKMARKS FROM INTERNET EXPLORER?

Everyone is migrating from internet explorer to mozilla firefox. Some people would have bookmarked some sites in internet explorer. Let me show you how to import those bookmarks from internet explorer to mozilla firefox.

  • First open your firefox. Click File> Import.
  • Select "Microsoft Internet Explorer" in the import wizard.
  • Then click "Next".
  • Select the things (Internet options, cookies, browsing history and or favorites) you wish to import into firefox.
  • Click "Next" again.
  • You will see "The following items were successfully imported". Click "Finish" and exit.
  • Now open your firefox. You will get a menu. In that, you can see "From Internet Explorer"
  • Now you can see your internet explorer bookmark when you click on it.
  • If you are a user of both browsers you can import bookmarks from firefox when you need it.
now let me say how to import from firefox.

  • Open your internet explorer
  • Click file> import and export.
  • Select "Import form another browser" from that. 
  • Then click "Next".
  • Now click "Select a browser from which to import favourites and feeds" in the consecutive window.
  • Now click "firefox". Then "Import".
  • Then you can see "These settings were imported successfully" in a new window.
  • Next click "Finish".
  • Go to internet explorer favourites to see firefox bookmarks. Now go to Mozilla firefox folder. Here you can see all your bookmarks.
