How to remove infected autorun.inf file from pen drive or hard disk.Sometimes, for virus or trojan horse you may find difficulties in opening your drives.Your aurorun.inf file is infected if you find any abnormal language when you right click on a drive.The autorun.inf file is hidden and you will not see the file even though you select to show your all files from folder option.To remove this infected file remove the trojan horse or virus by any updated antivirus software.

Go to start-> Run and type cmd then click ok.
If you want to remove the infected file from C drive then type C: in command prompt window and press enter from keyboard.
Then type autorun.inf and press enter.
The file is in the drive but not showing or you cant delete it now.
Now type "attrib autorun.inf -s -h -r" and press enter.
Now delete the file by typing "del autorun.inf and press enter.
If you type autorun.inf and press enter now, you will find no infected autorun.inf file.
Restart the computer and right on your C drive.
Then open and explore option will be working now.
